JuxtaHub encourages interested artists to apply for studio space. We review applications on a rolling basis. JuxtaHub’s Artist Studios, located on the 2nd floor, are designed for artists who are serious about pursuing their art in a collaborative, fun, and professional environment. JuxtaHub brings a variety of disciplines under one roof for people of varied backgrounds to share their talents. Resident artists represent a diverse range of creative practices within the fields of art, design, and technology.

Artists interested in applying for a space should:
- Uphold a commitment to their career and present a strong body of original work.
- Exhibit a high degree of artistry and professionalism.
- Share JuxtaHub’s mission – connecting creators, artists, and makers from diverse mediums, fostering opportunities for education, collaboration, and innovation across the Lehigh Valley.
Application Process
- Complete the Studio Artist Application Form through Monday.com.
- Submit 10 pieces of recent work with an annotated image list that includes the title, medium, dimensions, and year of completion for each work. (Images should be JPG only).
- Submit an artist’s statement/bio.
- Submit a CV or resume highlighting education, artistic accomplishments, exhibition history, and work experience.
- Provide three non-familial references.
Applications will be reviewed quarterly by a committee of JuxtaHub staff, board members, and professional artists. If no spaces are available, applicants will be added to a waitlist until being considered for the next available opening.

JuxtaHub Artist Studio Features
- 22 air-conditioned studios, ranging in size from 112 sq ft to 419 sq ft (no studio thermostats) featuring sealed, bare concrete floors (artists may provide their own floor coverings), open ceilings with drop LED lighting to maximize ceiling height, and partition walls that extend to the roof deck for privacy, as well as lockable doors for security
- All Studios are hardwired for internet access with WiFi provided by Velaspan available throughout the facility
- Six studios have exterior windows; eight studios are equipped with exhaust ducts with backflow dampers (artists to provide exhaust fan/hood)
- Rental price varies based on amenities
In addition, all studio artists will have access to:
- JuxtaHub Patron-level Membership & 1 free day pass in our maker space per month
- Gallery space throughout the building with flexible lighting
- Large gathering spaces and common areas for sharing & collaboration
- Large 3-sink cleanup room and an area for waste receptacles
- Elevator access to 2nd floor (inside dimensions – 5’-11” wide x 8’-4” deep x 7’-9” tall)
- Loading docks on first floor with straight stairwell access to 2nd floor for larger pieces
- Bathrooms on each floor
