Students of all ages are expected to follow the classroom rules while on JuxtaHub grounds. Students that are disrespectful, rude, or aggressive will not be tolerated in class or and the instructor has the authority to dismiss the student. JuxtaHub aims to have a welcoming environment where people of all ages can gather, grow, and create. It is important to respect staff, volunteers and fellow students in this shared experience.
JuxtaHub has the right to refuse service if the student disregards classroom Code and guidelines. Students of all ages are expected to act and speak respectfully and professionally. If there is a concern, JuxtaHub expects open communication where both parties agree to listen and communicate in a civil conversation. JuxtaHub has the authority to dismiss or decline students whose behavior is disruptive or otherwise inappropriate without refund.

Harassment, Discrimination, Retaliation, and Sexual Misconduct Violations
JuxtaHub has zero tolerance for any act of child abuse, exploitation, violence, discrimination, bullying, and other forms of abuse. “Violence and abuse against” – refers to a single act or a series of acts committed by instructors, leadership, staff members, volunteers, and non-academic personnel against a child or adult which result in, or is likely to result in physical, sexual, psychological harm or suffering, or other abuses including threats of such acts, battery, assault, coercion, harassment, or arbitrary deprivation of liberty.
Responsible and Ethical Use of Technology and the Internet
JuxtaHub complies with all local, state, and federal laws governing the internet. Students shall comply with these laws and cooperate fully with local, state, or federal officials in any investigation related to illegal activities conducted through internet access.

In the event there is a claim that a student has violated this Code, they will be notified of the suspected violation and given an opportunity to present an explanation.
Any student that violates this Code will be subject to disciplinary action that may result in removal from JuxtaHub, as well as other legal action.
Emergency Situations
Emergency Authority of the Executive Director and/or Board of Directors:
Because situations may arise that may not be fully covered by this Code, the Executive Director and/or a member of the Board of Directors is granted the authority to exercise their good judgment in emergency situations. The emergency powers of Leadership may be exercised by an Associate or Assistant at the direction of Leadership.
